We can attend your festival or community event...

For Festivals:

We can attend your festival with our 6m x 3m marquee and do history workshops for all ages, all weekend, 10am - 5pm. Some of the things we've done before have included:

Stone Age tool making,

Medieval weapons demonstrations,

Roman mock battles,

Longbow archery,

Cave Painting,

History talks

And many others... We have a dress-up area for the kids, loads of hands-on displays and genuine artefacts and our staff are on hand to answer any questions. We make sure we vary the displays and workshops so every day is different.

If you think we'd go down well at your event, please get in touch.

We normally ask a donation of £50 for weekend events.

We may ask for additional travel expenses if your event is a long way away...

For local day events...

We have two marquees, one large and one small (6m x 3m and 3m x 3m). These house our 'roadshow' which is a large, interactive display of British history from fossils, through Roman and Medieval times to modern history including the World Wars. We can tailor the display to fit in with any themes you want.

We also do regular displays, demonstrations, talks and hands on sessions covering a number of topics. These have included Stone Age tool making, Medieval weapons demonstrations, Roman Pottery, Second World War uniforms and many others.

We normally ask a donation for these day events:

£45 for the large marquee

£35 for the small marquee

If your event is a long way for us to travel, we may ask for additional expenses.

All our donations go straight back into the project and will help to finance new exhibits for next year...
